Gaah... Josh is fighting getting dressed... fortunately he's still wearing his clothes from yesterday, so if he refuses to change, we can just drag him outside in them... unless he catches on, and gets undressed.

We got him outside, but he escaped around back... and then ducked back in the house and took his clothes off. Now I have to see if he'll go for the out-to-the-car trick... when it's 19°F outside.

Shouldn't there be someone we can call in a situation like this? I just don't understand. I really don't. What are we supposed to do? Just sit here and let him run our lives?

Okay, we've dodged the bullet yet again... he darted upstairs when I tried to shoo him out to the car, then tried to push past Sandy into the living room when I herded him back downstairs, but I strongarmed him back towards the door -- I think he had stopped fighting me by the time he got to the kitchen. Didn't fight going out, getting into the car was giving off vibes like "this is what's supposed to be happening" all the way to school (even as he was hunching over because of the cold... and all through long waits at lights because of the traffic), and then totally cooperated with getting dressed and walking in. Go figure.
